Rent and eligibility at Park Winds
Park Winds is an affordable housing community that takes part in two programs: the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program. Both programs keep rent affordable for households that earn under certain income limits.

Fixed-Rent Apartments (LIHTC)
1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with rents starting at $900 for income-qualified residents. Your rent stays the same regardless of income.
Rent Based on Income (HUD)
Income-qualified residents may pay about 30% of their income toward rent through a HUD rental subsidy. HUD-subsidized apartments are limited.
Income Limits
Households must earn under set income limits, based on household size. For example, a one-person household must earn $48,900 or less per year.
